Fun times on Wednesday night

This is what all of you staffers missed tonight! Absolute craziness.

We have had three deadline stories tonight, so it has been especially stressful. As I say in the video, but you probably won't be able to focus on that, if you are interested in applying for a staff position for next semester, start coming to the office on Wednesday nights to the office.

Next Wednesday is the last Wednesday to come for a few much needed weeks of rest.

But anyway, back to editing and approving sections. We hope you enjoy the paper this week. We think we have a great selection of stories and art for you all!

Assault near campus

According to an email to the Georgia College community, a female GC student was approached from behind by an unknown male in the area of West Greene and South Wilkinson streets at approximately 4 a.m. on Sept. 24.

The male fondled the female student, who was able to dial 911 and the suspect ran away. The suspect has not been apprehended as of now. If you have any information regarding this incident please contact the Milledgeville Police Department at (478) 414-4000 or the GC's Public Safety at (478) 445-4400.

Safety precautions to remember when out after dark:

• Walk in groups
• Stay alert
  
• Keep your hands free
• Walk in lighted areas
• Use SNAP whenever possible

Hi guys! Tonight is production night, and you should all come and say hi. Especially if you are remotely considering applying for a staff position next semester. It's a lot of fun and a relaxed atmosphere (most of the time). We go to a staff dinner at 5 p.m. and you all are invited to come along!

Blogging alone again...

We hope you have had a fabulous week! We put the paper together last night until about 3:30 a.m., but if we didn't have dedicated staffers like you all, we would never be able to get everything done. So, thank you!!
