Impeachment motion carries

The Student Government Association met Monday, Nov. 7, for the second time this year to discuss articles of impeachment. In this instance they were filed against freshman Senator Matthew Wirth.

Unlike the outcome of the previous impeachment hearing of Vice President Ross Sheppard, with a 16-5 vote, the motion to impeach Senator Wirth carried. His case will now be forwarded to the Student Judicial Board, where it will be determined by a majority vote whether he should be removed or allowed to stay in his position on SGA.
