Nov. 11 Props & Slops

Props:

The graphic main package on the front page is great at breaking down the difficult concepts in the story. Kudos to Vanessa Whited who designed the elements.


The teaser button leading viewers to the second S
GA article in this issue on the front page story was a good idea for those who are interested in reading the SGA stories.

This issue had many graphical elements compared to past issues from this semester. The crosswalk graphic on the fourth page was a nice way to get additional information about pedestrian safety and consequences of not exercising caution.

The spread for 'Hamlet' was nice. A great dominant image choice.

On page 17 in sports the use of a box to give readers the chance to see scores for women's basketball at a glance is fantastic and so useful.


Slops:

Two stories on page 2 have the same jump headline 'Grants.' Sorry about that. It is correct online.

The photo of the bench on page 3 is too large for that kind of photo. It should have been run smaller.
